NotesI’m Alive (Next To Normal)- Aaron Tveit
I saw Next To Normal with Kyle Dean Massey as Gabe and he was fantastic and mostly I thought I preferred him to the Aaron Tveit versions I’d seen. This video is what got me get on board and finally get why it really is Aaron Tveit’s role. He totally nails the “my sons a little shit” side of the character that I think gets lost sometimes, and it’s brilliant; it gives this song, and the character a whole other dimension/meaning.
and because I’m shallow, cocky prick is a really good look for him
And he’s totally trying to pole dance with the mic stand. That’s commitment.
